Have you turned your keys to off? I can take my keys out in any position.

So make sure you hit the button and turn it all the way to lock.

Otherwise get the multimeter out and start checking.

I'd say someone has wired your gear up straight to the battery, rather than using the signal (ignition) wire that triggers accessories on and off.

Time to check wires!

also check that ur key just isnt worn and that the ignition is turning fully off as hen said. when i 1st bought my car i could pull the key straight out even when the car was running! so are u completely turing the car off and using the 'key lock' button to remove the key?

with my ke30 the stereo was able to be turned on when the car was off bcoz i wired it like that, but then it got stolen :(
same with dash clock thingo
but my stereo didnt sap power when it was off, if urs doesnt either i woulndt worry about it, i prefered it like that

same, though my clock stays off when the car is off. just wired my stereo up to a switch instead.
