Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere and many times but I'm going to check out a Spoonta tomorrow with fairly high K's and I was just wondering how many km's a 4ac can make it, under normal servicing times and well looked after etc.

4AC's don't die.
I've driven one with mid 300 - low 400's on the clock (don't remember exactly) and it still pulled well.
They love the thrashing.

yeh dont worry too much about oil leaking out of it either... pay more attention to the gear box

Only things 4ACs seem to be capable of breaking are head gaskets. Just make sure it runs fine and doesn't run on 3 cylinders or less. It would still live on, just not good for performance :P
As said in many places, 4ACs don't die, no matter how crap you treat them. If its been well looked after you are in for a treat :)

It is almost impossible to kill a 4AC engine.
Mine has around 310000 kms on it a, stuffed head and is almost always low on oil and it still goes fine.
