Hey guys,

Wondering what HID kit can be adapted into 86's. IE: what bulb type? H1, H3???

Also with bride seat rails, the lowest type is that too low for ae86's? I'm a fraction under 6 foot. Wondering whether to go normall height or lower..
I'm sure there's a few other things I've forgotten.

Since it is a H4 bulb that a ae86 uses wouldn't u be able to use a h4 hid kit, only thing I can think of that may be a problem could be that the hid light bulb might be longer so may fowl on the plastic reflector

HID lights bring thousands of bugs to your headlights when parked, ask ant from kaizen

That, and HID lights are generally illegal as an aftermarket option (in QLD they are :( )

I think the lowered seat would be fine for those of height around 6 foot, but that is from what I have heard, not experienced.

law in vic says they are only legal if the headlight unit is self leveling

They're legal here.

I think they run for about $200 USD maybe?

From what I heard, HIDs were illegal, although looking at the QLD Transport regs it doesn't say for sure. If it carries the same markings as the original bulb (ie H4) then it should be right. Outside of that, they would be illegal :(
