View Full Version : Prothane Total Bushing Kit for AE86 Group buy

hachirusto

Hey Guys

I am currently looking at organising a group buy for theses bushing kits inorder to take advantage over the current US exchange rate.

The kits include the following items

Includes front lower control arm and rear 4-link Bushings, Front caster Rod Bushings, Rear Panrod Bushings, Front Sway Bar Bushings (21mm & 22mm), Front Sway Bar End Links, Rear Sway Bar Bushings (14mm & 16mm), and Rear Sway Bar End Links.

theses are urethane bushes so are alot better then standard rubber ones and as we know these cars are ancient so bushes should be replaced before doing any other mods to get a better outcome

At the moment I am organising prices for them currently there is a guy on ebay that does them and to buy one kit off him it would work out to be about $170 including shipping. This is already pretty cheap so prices will only get cheaper depending on how many people we can get

register your interest here and I will add you to the list

Count me in, will hopefully end up abit cheaper in a week or two, with another interest rate rise in sights and the US dollar expected to drop another 15%, Theres a saving of at least a 6 pack right there.... Actually everybody should buy all their parts from the US now/soon while our dollar is strong because it wont last.....stupid trade deficit.

bump, its been a while. is this still going through or its just out?

hachirusto
16th November 2007, 05:41 PM
This may still be going ahead

Ive been in contact with Max from pass racing in America

He has said he can do 5 at $100 USD each, and shipping is going to be about $220 - $250 USD per box, He is going to find out how many will fit in each box although I think is still should work out well as I would believe it would have to be more then 5 per box.

I will update again when Ive got another reply and will also need to have confirmation of thoughts people that Are 100% intending on buying the kits if it goes ahead so that I can work out a final price with him

thanks

Julz

Just buy them on ebay, 110 bucks, doesn't cost much for shipping. Saves waiting around because it looks like it's not going ahead.

RobertoX
22nd November 2007, 08:24 AM

Superpro are the best.

DO some research about them, they even get ordered by british racing guys because they can't get anything decent.

Superpro FTW!!![''';

yea looks like it wont happen going to be to much stuffing around on my part, and the added risk of trusting people in another country which I dont want to do when other peoples money is involved
