I've heard about people using the fronts suspension and was thinking about using these units for brake upgrade and availablity.

Is it true they give bad geometry?

What do they cause?

Do you need a bigger brake booster for the brake, Either supra or celica?

Do the 86 strut inserts fit in them?

Best to just run FC rx7 brake calipers and cooper rotors, give awsome braking, or just try giving the existing setup a freshen up with new pads, rotors, decent fluid. Use JDM 86 brakes as they are vented, are slightly better than ADM 86 and very effective.

supra front struts are no good for a sprinter, as you said bad geometry:

Konakid: do most wheels clear the caliper with that setup?

RA60 struts give positive camber (~3deg) and need ~30mm longer LCAs to work properly. Combined with Sigma arms and RA40 tie rods then this works out ok. But then you can't get any steering arms that fit these struts that are as short or shorter than ADM AE86 arms.

marke70's ae71 runs ra60 struts with st185 short stroke inserts, T3 coilover setup and custom RCA's to fit ae86 P/S arms.........and it kicks arse :greenbounce:

no booster upgrade needed.
