Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows if the vvt switch in a silvertop motor is different to a blacktop motor?
Im thinking that this is the problem my car at the moment, as when i plug the vvt in, the motor runs smooth to about 3k
then rough in higher revs. When unplugged, its rough (no torque) to about 4k then smoother in higher revs...
any help much appreciated

they are identical if you mean the solenoid on the side of the head, if you mean the vt pulley then they are different
