the rubber bushings sandwiched between the gearbox crossmember and the trasmission cradle snapped in half. How do I replace them as they appear to be 'glue' on to the metal parts rather than held by bolts. Where can I get new ones??

A new one from Toyota I guess. It is an option for almost every part.
I have never fixed it before. If you were to fix it, it would involve heat to rubber "weld" it together again. You could try going to a rubber welding place. Everyone buys a new one, or finds one at the wreckers. Off any car with a T50 I guess:

you mean a new bushing or a new everything? I'm planning to get a new bushing but then I still have to 'weld' the new bushing on the two metal plates.. correct?

have to replace the whole thing you cant weld a bush on the cradles, do it right the first time and you wont have to worry about it
