Just wanting to know with the rear window rubber in the ae86 hatch, does it hold the window in aswell or are there 2 rubber seals? One for the window and another top?
Cheers

Remove the window with the seal in place by peeling the seal away from inside the car. Bear in mind that this is the moment you will discover whether or not (  ) there is any rust around the window seat of your hatch. I suppose the good thing is that rust makes it easier to get the window out. :(

Refitting is done using a long piece of strong cord as per the body manual, and you seal it in with a caulking tube of black window sealer you can get at repco etc..

As Sam suggests, it is a pain in the arse job, just take your time and be careful not to cut the seal.
