yer he doesn't hurt him though. I actually have to watch the collie to make sure he doesn't get to aggressive.

I love dogs
i'll have a dogs every day until i die.
I want a staffy one day (i have a list of hundreds of dogs i want to own before i die :P) yours looks like fun John!!
Snoopy 9 years old Beagle x cattle dog, had him since a pup
Fernando 4 years old pomeranian x bichon frise, again had him since a pup.
I got Snoop when i was in yr11. he was part of a 2 fathered litter and the only cattle dog mix (rest were rotty x beagle (mum was a stray)) i moved out years later and mum asked if snoopy could stay with them as he was the family's dog. he busted out of our yard and found his way back to our old houses in the local area, we have always kept in contact with our neighbours and they would call mum to tell her that Snoopy was sitting in our old yard!!
He moved in with me in our new house and never busted out again
we had got Fernando as our first "family dog" (Tammi and I) seeing mum had requested to keep Snoop. he was 12 weeks old when we got him from a pet store and he was a monster compared to all the other 4-6 week pups there
both wicked dogs with their own very different personalities, they get on so well given their different characters and attributes.
you do love them like children

and here is a pic of our latest "pup" its totally irrelevant but where else can you show off a pic of your child flipping you the bird :P

Got one myself (well between the ex and myself). Friendliest dogs ever, possibly besides Boxers! He had a young kid full on pulling his tail the other day and he just barked at the kid. He's a year and a half old and recently diagnosed with cancer though which really sucks. Looking at getting a Boxer next year.

Not hard to train yours to go want to go out back when it needs to go.
Of course keep on eye on it while its out there.

Depends. How old is it?
When you say outside, do mean mean out the back or locked in a room?
Edit: Just read its 9 weeks old
If you can try and keep him near you, i tend to find if they can see you they shut up.
If not, you'll just have to live with it :P
Edit 2: Also it still might be a bit young to be left outside.

i would keep her near me if i wasnt worried that shes gonna piss on my carpet, and i do agree that its too early to be outside but im not the one who puts her out there AND apparently, so my mum tells me, the vet said we can keep her in our back yard, but again, im not so sure bout that
EDIT: still whinging

If its whinging all the time, it sounds like its still to young to be seperated >.<

we have got cats atm.. they are gay, they just sleep all day and dont do shit. its only good when they get wild and chase leaves around the floor, they go nuts and flip around. makes for good laughs. here is a pic of my cat asleep, and i put headphones in.

Best entertainment for a cat is to get a light with a small circle (IE: Not a flood light, something like a maglite)
put it on the wall and watch him jump up around and chase it, hours of entertainment.

ive got a lab and a jack russel. Lab is really playful and smart, the jack russel borders or human. Hes got the biggest attitude, knows how to get his own way. I think they call them jack russels because you can russel a chip packet from 5k's away and we will still hear it, hes like a little barrel with legs.

Just saw this thread, I'm another dog lover so I had to post up my 'puppy'. His names Oscar and he's an Irish Wolfhound.
Not really a pup anymore, he weighs about 80kg.

jack russel, more human than some people i know.
you know the ole dogs are like their owners.
toby is what i would imagine myself to be if i were a dog.
i also have a lab, who is the most smart playful dog i have seen, can't find a photo on this computer.
