I have for sale a factory Panhard rod that has been Modified to "on car" adjustable using genuine Toyota Factory Adjusters
will adjust from 760mm to 820 mm
Uses all factory threads and adjusters ,left and right handed . The modified section is solid steel not hollow tube like the standard bar ,so will be stronger than stock also has mint bushes that are better quality than ke/ae ones
you can re use or replace your bushes i am not supplying new ones with them
why pay over $140 when you can get one of these that does exactly the same job..................................
Price : $40.00 + your standard Panhard ( $10 extra if no exchange)
if there is enough interest i will be getting more done....
if your car has been lowered ...you need one
allows realignment of the Diff on lowered cars
Location : Brisbane

i believe that the advantage of adjustment is that you can correctly align your diff if your car has been lowered. im sure someone has a more technical explanation

when you lower your car the diff is pushed to the left hand side as the panhard is no longer on an angle but lays pretty flat.

the benfit of adjustability means you can make the panhard rod shorter thus correctly realigning your diff and get your left hand tyre off the guard :P

wouldn't you have to spend 50 on bushes or do they come with it?

hope this isnt too off topic but how the f do people bend and break standard ones i would have thought it would come with some chassis damage as well. just thought it might be an ok place to ask if not i might start a new post topic thing

ok...

Can do centre adjust, offset adjust or one end adjust ..all are "on car" adjustable
for those wishing Postage, i would suggest Centre adjust a can be "broken down" to allow for cheaper postage

Centre Adjust

only difference is where the Adjuster is............................... all do the same thing...allow you to centre the diff on lowered cars...

i bent mine sliding sideways off track relitively fast into sand. i up graded to a TRD.
the only dissadvantage to this item is that its not as strong as an after market item, but if your car is not a drifter/track car, this isnt a problem.
the dissadvantage to an aftermarket item is in the event of another sideways off, the next weekest piont will be found.

just a quick tech question... how do you tune the rod to the right length?

first you set to stock length then measure cetre line on car then measure diff offset wind in orout accodingy until diff is centralised on car

I have one for years and ive never had any troubles there is nothing bad about them if they are correctly set up and there as safe as,Not unless it has poor welding and it snaps then it might rip something more than your mount lol

just a bit further onto the tech side of things, should the diff be slightly offset to one side with no additional weight (ie at a standstill, no driver, no passenger) so that under compressive load it would be aligned. also what way will it move the lower the arse squats? cheers

Arch

the diff moves to the left whenever the car squats

usually though, when you lower your car you also stiffen it, meaning less susp travel and therefore less diff travel to the left.

For the people asking what an ajustable panhard rod is for, try actually getting under your car and getting an understanding for how this suspension system works, its not rocket science just take a look! :)
