I've got a 20V flywheel and 215mm clutch kit for a 7afe with ADM T50. Clutch is a exedy sports tuff 4puck sprung button, and slips like hell.

interesting, was it clean when it went together and is it an exedy p plate, thats rather unusual should of pulled it out and sent it to get checked bud might be manufacture fault

You didnt bend the input shaft when installing or disasembling it. Is it leaking oil? could be a few things. I would have had it sent off and got checked.

another box question, how much is the clutch fork meant to move while it is not connected, we have just put a heavy duty excedy clutch in it and new thrust bearing it only moves about 10-15 mm

No oil on clutch, I dont think bent input shaft, it was all clean and was a exedy clutch plate and pressure plate. It slips when I snap 2nd, not at any other time. I pulled it out today and it didnt look too bad, but there were little bits broken off the edges of the pucks.
I've heard a lot about exedy clutches having low clamping pressure, I assumed it was typical exedy.

Yeah it will take slack.
So i will just ask them for a rwd 4a clutch. And there are two different clutch sizes the 200mm and 215mm am i right?

i thought there were 3? anyway yeh bud just a 4a clutch with rwd throwout, if they have a specific kit for rwd sweet

as for the slippin clutch it is possible, that when it was manufactured that springs on the p plate were wrong/damaged whateva, ive had that alot with reco'd heavy duty clutches, cause it to slip but also damages the clurch plate due to it flappin round when the clutch is disengaged.

The part number is 6001 for the Spigot bearing. Does anybody know what throwout bearing to use. I have been told that its the 4a, he wasnt too sure.

the fwd one i got was different to the one on the t50, the one on the t50 has to be pressed on to a sleeve i think, im not sure only worked on one sprinter, bein my own and mine was fine so i didnt really look how to do it, if anyone can confirm that plz do.

you have to get a 4ac clutch and thrust bearing, the 4age flywheel has to be used because the 4ac flywheel has too many bolts, the fwd 4age thrust bearing does not fit onto the sleeve
