Window lips???

Hey guys,

Ive seen a fair few pics of jap corolla's and sprinters with the lips above the side windows (sort of like a windshield, but a lot thinner). Are these a custom item or does anyone know where to acquire a set from?

ive been talking to a mate who is a plastic welder/repairer person and im going to see if he can mod some standard ones for me for all 4 doors... if he can do it fairly easy which he said it should be a breeze then i will be able to start doing a "send me standard ones, ill send them back like how you see them in this picture for a small fee" plus he can tint them any colour etc.

Factory option I'm pretty sure on JDM corolla's.

Although I have never seen any up close, but aren't they stainless steel sheet metal, which are highly polished like the rest of the chrome trims?

im getting 2 sets made up. ended up going satinless steel just like the jap ones. i will have one set forsale which will be all 4 windows. if people are keen i could get some more made for the right $$$
