hi the seat is side mounted only i have previously bolted it straight to the floor but its not the best option

i was wondering what rails are available for super low mount?

i have had the same problem with my bucket, in my KE i used the standard "mount" but attatched the new rail to the mount, so pretty much i drilled out the spot welds in the old mount/rail and just used the bottom half that attatche's to the floor and attatched the sliding rails from the bucket to it.. it sits to high but its solid! i want mine to sit on the floor nearly so i think its just gonna be some cutting of steel and making up some mounts.. id rather do that then spend 300 on an after market rip rail!

mayb some others can offer some pics :2thumbs:

that looks like the lowest you could possibly go..
cos where the rail bolts to the floor your seat wont go lower than that.

If it is bolted to the floor with a side mount and has been done properly, you aren't going to get it any lower, because it will be on the floor...

Im in discussion with slide 86 about these at the moment, he can get bottom mount rails also if your seat already has the seat to rail brackets.

what /\ /\ ??? confused

he can get the ones pictured?
as the uprights coming off them look to be able to be in a usable range for where a velo seats nut and bolt holes would be?
and the uprights looks to be able to move from the position where they're mounted on the rail in that pic?

i can get the ones pictured and also a 'factory' style seat base that is lowered 30mm.

it doesnt have the up rights on it tho, but i can buy them also. so you would buy them seperate and bolt them to the base

yes you are right, the uprights are adjustable in both ways. you can remove them and re position them

sorry to hi jack again but im assuming cos im not 6ft and ive got an velo esprit (but thinking about buying a GP90 as its still daily) both not too much higher than a normal seat its not going to really need a lower base/rail setup?

also could you PM me the details about the seat mount pictured eg prices/bride?/model number
cheers
