you cannt have a metalic red that looks red, its impossible. closest you can get is a pearl red or a candy red. metalic red just goes maroon->dark red

how about inverting the panda paint scheme? (black upper, white bottom?) that or a white/red two-tone.
i know those schemes suck, but he did say he wanted something original. ;)

A light teal... Metallic?.....panda??
2pak Burnt orange panda?
White/silver/black all look good but deffinately not original, which is what your after.
If you (or any of your mates) got any computer skills take a photo of your car, open it in photo shop, select all the bodywork and then play around with the hue/saturation settings until you find something you like. Then try and find paint of a similar colour, or take the photoshopped photo to a paint shop n get them to mix it up for ya. This way you get to sample YOUR car and see what it looks like in every colour. No doubt ull find something you like, and something original! Just a suggestion!

black with blue ghost pearl on top would be original.
fusion orange off a cv8z monaro are both very different for an ae86
http://www.southgate.com.au/vz/CV8Z4.jpg
its an iridescent orange and looks hot as in real life

hey rich,
sorry mate, don't know what the actual colour is...looks to have a slight pastel/creamy blend through it.
possible a cappucino colour.
as for the black i'm not quite sure.
i will more then likely paint mine wrx sti black which has a gold pearl through it.
found the pic on jdmtuning forum site
