Hey Guys,
tried to do a search but doesn't allow map to be searched.
Im wondering how to test if my map sensor is stuffed or on its way out??
Also, just wondering where exactly is the map sensor on my 16v Bigport 4age. I think on the inlet manifold or close, but not too sure where and also exactly what it looks like.
Cheers
Hugh

is it a standard fitment engine?
or is it a conversion? look for a small black box somewhere near the manifold with 3 wires coming out of it on a plug.

the actual unit isnt, but the wires run into the computer to give the reading.

ah ok, the only map sensored cars I've had had microtech and autronic ecus, where the vacuum hose goes into the ecu.
