ok , i know it has nothing to to with toyotas but , i know some of you guys have put s13 suspension into your ke/ae etc.

ok so im looking at suspension setups for my ca18det bmw e30 , it is yet to be engineered but im about go through that process now, anyway im setting it up for street/track drift , im going to have to do a brake upgrade for the certificate and i want to get a good suspenssion setup , so i was playing with the idea of just fitting ca18 s13 coilovers/struts, hubs , brakes.. etc..

now im not the most cluey guy on suspension , and im not exactly looking for the perfect answer on straight swaps to bmw , but im just looking some answers and info about swaps similar to this.

any info , appreciate it.

cheers lads

I would recomend doing a bit more research into the same family tree for example 5 series brakes etc... would be plenty big enough, it's just a matter of figuring out what would fit etc.. Not sure if yours is a 318 or a 325, but pretty certain the 325 brakes are bigger and a pretty simple upgrade

Iam not sure if you car was a 4cyl or 6cyl spec car .. but the 6 cylinder had vented front dics and solid rear discs, while the 4 had solid discs front and drums on the rear . iam not sure what Diameter or style of wheel had but the std 15'' rim dosent give you much clearance to do a caliper upgrade, Alpina`s had a bigger dics / brake package ,, but you had to use 17" rims ,, The best upgrade i have seen is using Z3 front struts ,, But your stud pattern goses from 4 stud to 5 stud which is the same pcd as a commodore . you can also use the 5 stud z3 drive flage on the rear so that your mags are the same 5 stud pcd ,

How much have you gone into this as you might be able to fit the e30 6cyd brakes and all is sweet . BTW the both 4 and 6 cyd front rotor dia and caliper dia are the same . just that they are vented on the 6`s

here is a link to brake upgrades from the BMW model spare parts Bin,
