upgrading springs in the ke been told that falcon springs fit, do i just get a pair of rear springs
and chop them in half? so they can go on the front aswell. i did a search but wanna know if the springs
fit in the front aswell

No get fronts for the fronts, and rears for the rears, half will be too low, make them about 270mm free height all round and then cut more from there if need be

So your saying that falcon front springs will fit onto the front only of a ke?
I always thought that it was just the rears that could be used all round..?

i used fronts in the front. Fit well.

i once used vl rear springs in the front of my ae70. They seemed to fit pretty perfectly in the standard 70/71 strut. And seemed to be around a 4kg rate so they worked alright as a buget setup.

How about if you have a set of king or pedders from a falcon spare? what would the approx spring rate be if they were cut down a bit. The springs are Super Lows.

cutting springs doesnt change the spring rate it only makes it have less travel

Actually it does increase the spring rate due to less coils having more resistance
A cut falcon rear spring is about 4kg depending on height. Front would be about 5, also depending on height
