Hey guys,
I'm after the part number (Genuine Toyota or Aftermarket) for a R/H Axle seal to suit an early model T series diff, 3.9 Open center with no swaybar mounts.
And also wondering what is involved in pulling it all out. Is it as simple as pulling the axle out and just popping the seal out and tapping in a new one then axle back in?
Any help would be appreciated, sick of smelling diff oil.

Unsure on part #, but I've got them before from Repco (Just walked in and explained the part and the car diff was from). And yes, they are piss easy to pop out and press in. You need to be a little careful to get it in flat and neatly, but there's no sneaky tricks to it.

Silicone will fix it. Haha.

Thought of the silicone :P
So just stroll into repco and tell them it's from a t18 and I should be sweet?
Any idea on prices?
I should be right with getting it in, was just worried about how much shit I'd have to pull out to do it.

t18,ra28,ta22,ra40,ra60 etc are all the same seals too from memory.
not really a massive job, just got to be sure to give the axle a bit of a nudge to get it out.
suggestion of putting am old drum face on backwards and smacking that shit with a hammer works well, but i just used an old steel wheel i had lying around. makes it alot easier.

Hey man the Toyota part number is 90311-52059. I'd say they would cost about $10 each genuine.

Thanks heaps guys, gotta wait till payday, broke as a joke.
Kelpro doesn't list anything for a t18 diff. Didn't think of ra40 and the rest when I was there. Will have to do it tomorrow, also gonna give toyota a ring.
Thanks again.
