Just noticed when someone is looking at buying a sprinter and aks if they should buy JDM or ADM, why does every one say 'oh JDM kicks ass'. Would a an ADM with a smallport and coilovers not be a better car for less money than a stock bigport JDM. Just wondering what makes a JDM car so much better if you're gonna fit coilovers/smallport/quads/swaybars/etc anyway.... ?

It's a lot of smaller things that add up to the whole.

JDM =
More lock standard
Factory 4age with airbox and other cool things
Better seats
Jdm accel pedal that's even with the brake and clutch
Jdm t50 with the slave cyl on the drivers side
Lip and skirts
Vented front brakes and disk rear
LSD standard
Higher redline on the tacho
Better headlights that shine better and look better
Better looking indicators
Trueno pop up lights for takumi spec!
JDM = non cracked dash
gt-apex had power steering, power windows, power mirrors, climate control

Heaps of small shit that all adds up

it's like really awesome boobs

there are fake ones (aus spec) and real ones (JDM) ... to one half, it doesnt matter a damn ..... to the more discerning half it's everything

but all in all same thing

if ur using it for just drifting, then adm would be the way, but if ur using it as a daily/track car then jdm would be the better option

the ones that are cracked have not been looked after, generally the nice ones do have mint dashs.

haha the 2 explanations above are great -- technical, and boob summarised. :P +1 to good info - esp. seeing im after a AE86 -- looks like i'll chase after a JDM
