hey guys me and a mate installed a sony Head Unit after taking the shitty pioneer one out and we did it all properly and checked if it works and it did very well. then we fed the amp wiring from the battery to the back of the car (no carpet makes it easy :P ) then hooked up the amp to the H/U after it was all connected and the H/U stopped working :S didnt want to start or anything and when re-wired the pioneer H/U and it still didnt turn on or anything :S i looked at the fuses on amp and amp wiring and also the H/Us and the fuse board next to the gas pedal.......has anyone got an idea of what could be wrong or if there are fuses else where?

cheers Will

P.S. its an AE86 Sprinter :)

Dont forget the fuse box in the engine bay too, might be something amiss there. Id also replace (if you can) the fuses that are marked for the radio just to be sure. Do the usual checks for grounds, proper cable connection between the amp and headunit, as well as to the battery.

Does the rest of the electronics in the car work? Try your lights, indicator, as well as try to start the engine. If they all work, it has to be a fuse or wiring problem to the audio gear. Run over it again and check it to make sure, let us know how it goes :2thumbs:
