stock ecus any diff between black top and silver top and would a silver top be able to work off a blk top ecu??? cheers

I have heard the black top ECU can run silvertop. You need to fit a MAP sensor and piss off the AFM, plus slightly change the COR wiring (because of MAP replacing AFM). Matt, of Toyospares fame, claimed that this combo ran better than stock silvertop management.

the ecus are different, there manual to auto silvertop ecus are even different. Either one can be run on either engine if you use the loom for the ecu and also you have to do some mods to the intake if your going to run the blacktop ecu with the silvertop throttles
