I have a mate in Coomera! Went and stayed with him for a week last yeah, wildest time of my life, blew up his Skyline 2 hours after buying it lol.

Back on topic, Fibreglass Engineer for a company called Ron Gee Enterprises. Based in Tassie, have a shop in Townsville and guys on site all over Aus. We make piping and tanks, ducting, light houses etc, for clients all over Aus and the Asian pacific countries.

Good money, wont do it forever but atm its giving me a foot in the door with companies such as BHP Billiton, Zinifex etc, which in the long run will help me out i think.

Also had small business detailing cars for private clients, looking after over $4M (MILLION) worth of cars, loved it!! Just recently sold out to my brother, and as such need another business, so watch my thread on my car for details on my new venture.

Part time Vehicle builder, at LoneStar Auto Works/Foreman Auto Works.

Do some crazy shit there, The owner does custom parts for cars. He is the sort of guy who will take a flat piece of metal, and bend it and shape it into a perfect car panel.

A whenever I am bothered job as a pool cleaner/retail. Mum and Dad own a pool shop, and they build pools along with servicing. If you have a milf, call up the shop and i will give her the special "service" for her pool.

Both jobs get me decent money, enough to pay for stuff i guess.

Not totally correct dude, if he's 17 now well he's obviously just labouring, in 10 years he might be operating or own a concrete pump, then he'll be making 2 or 3 times that, probably more. There is huge money to be made in the construction industry at the moment and for the next few years, and the only way to go is up. :D

last year i was doing glass fencing (around pools etc) and am doing this still on tuesdays 1 day a week.

i am also selling on ebay where i make upwards of $100 a week.

i am about to get a job as a waiter on weekend nights to pay for work to be done on my car

i will evenntually finish off my other tafe work which is a cert 3 in hourticulture. i was working in that industry for 4 years and will be a fully qualified landscaper when i do the tafe work so i can get my ticket. i got out of that industry however because i hurt my back. i will never go back unless i don't have a choice. crap pay, hard work. I'm only going to finish the tafe work so i can say that i didnt waste those years of my life and have something to show for it.

promoted today from Baggage handler to PC2X load coordinator/flight dispatcher for Virgin Blue

was throwing bags but now get to lead a team of guys to do that while i sort weight distributions for our aircraft in regards to freight/bag/fuel/passengers. we get 35 minutes to completely strip and reload the aircraft in a precise load and trim (which i calculate) so the aircraft is at its peak balance for the greatest fuel economy. get to deal more with flight crew and guest services staff and have to overcome a few hurdles on the way all in the 35 minutes, also have to do a bit more admin stuff and unfortunately will have to make some tough calls which could put me in a spot of bother with the guys loading or that guest i just told couldn't fly as they are too pissed or too late...

pretty psyched though

added a new role to my current one

Receipt and dispatch of the aircraft

basically plane lands, if need be i do the silly arm waving to guide them into bay, bang and some wheel chocks, get out the headset and have a chin wag with the flight crew.

dispatch is trickier

do a walk around the aircraft and deem it fit or unfit to fly (laughable given i have no qualifications at all, something i'm addressing at present as i don't think its right.

hookup the push back tug to the nose gear, again have a chin wag with the captain (actually go through a preflight checklist) once its all good the push back driver gets pushing on my command, i let the captain know he can start up his engines and i have to bloody walk next to the plane until we got out to the disconnection point so i can disconnect the push back tug, sort out the nose gear have another chat and let them be on their way.

its pretty tedious once you've done a few but i FKN love it for some reason. i think its the buzz of being in that close a proximity to a moving aircraft and actually being able to work around the plane when all the safety beacons and shit are on and engines are still blaring. i've had 2.5 years of "stay back" and now its like "meh whatever, get amongst it"

get to do the remote controlled PPU pushes soon which should be less mucking around and less walking for me :P

very long description but if i'd just said "receipt and dispatch" no one but Breno and Craig would know what the hell i meant

Last time i flew virgin there was a peice of 100mph tape on top the engine next to my window

Also i was forced to watch it progressively peeling itself off during the trip, lucky it was only a 3 hour flight!

But seriously stickytape on top of an aircraft engine is NOT COOL, however the adrenaline rush was awesome as i sit there thinking of my fate while watching the tape peel off the side of the engine.

 :teehee:
