Father going to Japan (Tokyo) next week....

Just thought i would mention that my father is going to be in Japan (Tokyo area) next week, and is willing to get some stuff for me.
Is there anything people can think of that i should get him to pick up?

He will be there from the 12th - 18th.....

they are old slow driver and learner driver stickers :P nothing else, pretty much like L plates here but they have them for old people as well hahaha

I'd hazard a guess that it'll be far harder to get anything car related than you expect (maybe DVDs, stickers and mags excluded). It's not as if there are speed shops on every corner and you'd most likely need some local contact to find out where to head.

I've seen different types of these. I'm not sure which one is genuine, but i have seen a sticker version (with a reflective finish), and a cardboard type one with a sucker that goes on the window with a hook attached and it just hangs from the hook.

I'd buy one, regardless of whether its the elderly one, or the learner one.

Yeah Hen, this is true, especially IN Tokyo. I know most of the workshops are out of Tokyo, mostly in regional areas, but i reckon it's worth a look around anyway.
He actually used to live and work in Tsukuba (ie; Tsukuba circuit). Heaps of workshops out there, but thats a regional area and he's not going

Iam not gonna bother him getting DVD's, thats pretty boring if you ask me........

BUT it looks like EVERYONE wants stickers.........
If you don't already know, ask Nick (shamrock stickers). He has heaps of drift stickers etc.....

of course they sell car parts. Autobacs is the biggest auto chain in japan.
but be prepared to pay an arm and leg for them from Autobacs at least

if you want cheap parts, go to upgarage.

theres alot of stores in JPN, but theres one in Ibaraki prefecture, in tsukuba. a pretty big one.

Well my dad is now here and brought me back a heap of small goodies. He went to the SuperAutoBacs Tokyo Bay Store. He said it was amazing the stuff you can get there...

I have a SHITLOAD of silly Jap stickers,drift stickers and some HKS and TRD ones too. I will take some photos of em and put em up so you guys can pick and choose
Prices will range from $5 - $18. (cost price)

He also got me 2 sets (8) of HKS spark plugs for a 4AGZE. I am keeping one set, but i am willing to sell the other set to the first person that wants em.
They are $27 each
