As the title says...
I'm trying to remove my g/b and don't really want to go underneath the car to support it if it weighs too much.
i don't really like the thought of a gearbox squahing me.

it wont squash you
i weigh quite a few less than 60kg and would be considered "small", i can drop it on myself without hurting
W58 itself weighs bugger all much more than a T50

Would the 35 be taking into account all the oils n such? They'd add a bit of weight...

and what does a T50 weight? the only real reason why i havent changed over to a W series box is because i heard they way a fir bit more than a T50.
if its only a few kg more than i may aswell buy a W55 instead of rebuilding my T50

i learned the hard way... luckily not much oil came out then proceeded to actually drain the box instead of wreaking of gear box oil

thats a pretty crap reason if you havent changed over the boxes, if your going to rebuild a t50 its obviously time for a w box
