Does anyone know the with from outer hub to outer hub of the s13 conversion using S13 control arms? The reason I ask is Cos me diff is dying and I'm planning on an s13 conversion So I wann use a Diff with similar track. Maybe somethink like a R31 diff with correct stud pattern, LSD and disc rear allready?

i gained 35mm a side but i used jzx81 arms, they're about 5mm longer than s13 arms, so 30mm a side sounds about right for silvia arms. I've got 1400mm front track with s13 rims on
1470mm hub to hub on a r31 diff, that's all i could manage to measure just now.

Thanks. I did read the whole section on the s13 conversion but where it was stated that there was 20 to 30mm a side it seemed like a guess to me. I am running s13 rims already cos it's been the plan to do the conversion all along. Benno that 1400 was that center of rim to center of rim? Ideally I would convert the front first but the diff is screaming so it's now moved to priority.

Your help is really appreciated, thanks.

pretty hard i spose. I fluked it(knew someone thaat had a cut), but i spose mx83 should be the same.

they're not bolt in though, still have to redrill crossmember for bigger bolt and plate/drill for castor rod

yeah mate, 1400 mm from centre to centre on CA S13 rims(telephone rims)

edit: if you can hang-out till the weekend I'll slap the ca rims on the r31 diff and get you a measurement, i had it writen down somewhere but lost it, it's close to 1400 though( otherwise i wouldn't have done it)

So yo have done this conversion? Any info you found out that would be usefull would be awesome! so with the S13 rims did you have to modify the gaurds?

This is how my rolla looks atm. It's a spirit but I repainted her over christmas and havent got around to putting the stripes back on yet. Rockin Rolla suspension and all!!!

how much track?? too much track!!!! (for stock guards anyway)

this is s13 stuff, car is about 140mm off the ground at the sills (so not that low, but low enough)

this is with maximum camber on the camber tops, i either need to flare the guards, or find some shorter control arms!

if you stick with your sr rims and, all you'll need is a quick guard roll. mine are close but i've got longer arms.

but silvia rims have a shit off-set so any normal rim will need heavy guard flaring

Yeah, +40 offset or something like that? I read it somewhere but I can't remember exactly. I need 10mm spacers just to clear the front shocks at the moment...
