Hey all I'm lookiing for some 5kg to 5.5kg rear springs befor the 23rd of feb. Does anyone know of or have any they want to sell or will sell who are in Nsw Sydney - wollongong area? I can pick up or if its out of sydny - wollongong area would thy be able to be posted? Cheers. :)

no, they're about 4kg from memory.

but in the front they don't fit at all.

Dam. i don't need them for the front as i got coilovers just want to make rear stiffer. i think i have 4.5kg int the rear ATM.

they will fit fairly well in the rear when cut down.

Get your favorite shop to order King springs. Just tell them rear of AE86, a bit lower, and you can choose any rate you want.

I think KTRL-34/270 is the part number of mine.

That exact spring I listed is 270 lbs/inch ~ 4.8kg/mm. But you can choose any rate you want and they will make it.

That exact spring has a free height of about 260mm, with about 6.5 coils, wire diameter about 13mm. But I didn't measure properly. Not progressive.

The point is, you can order custom springs from King.

Low King springs for the back of a AE86 is part No. KTRL-34.
If you want a specific rate, part No. is KTRL-34/290 or whatever rate you want.
If it turns out not low enough, then I guess you just have to cut them.
