Pads: AJPS or Japan :lol: (In Brissie... Banzai or Kaizen?)

Seasalt on rims or in mesh? If you just want to clean them, you might need to neautralise it with an alkaline solution (mild bicarb soda solution) scrub with a dishwashing brush or even a stiff toothbrush in the gaps of the mesh. Then rinse throroughly and dry. If the corrosion is bad on the rim itself, they may need a light sand and polish.
