hey guys quick question.
I used to polish my taillights on cars for mates but for some reason i can't remember how :blink:
i belive wet and dry 8000grit sandpaper then braso polish?
can anyone tell me?
i plan on respraying my car in a fortnight and I'm stripping it this time and thought ill do it properly lol

i use 2000grit wet sand and then turtlewax scratch and swirl remover.

theres no such thing as 8000grit

Not too much effort... takes me on average, about 7 mins per tail light.

yeah its 4 pieces of 2000grit stapled together

its good but the staples scratch.....

I thought it was called paper?

One thing I do not recommend is Mothers Plastic Polish. Tried it once, never will try again.

My mate just did his bumpers on his valiant charger, he used 2000grit wet and dry then autosol polish with a microfibre cloth. Looks mint as

I'll add my vote for Maguires plastic polish. When I saw how good it was, I couldn't stop desperately finding more things to polish.

Repo extra cut and polish. Red tin, ~$8 a tin and can clean grease off engine bay.

Also makes lights mint :) Takes 5mins, no hard rubbing (but rubbing harder gives better results).

Yes it removes the cloudy appearance of the plastic.

If you are a pov bitch, you can try toothpaste. not the gel stuff but the normal white stuff.

tamiya hobby polish thingy comes that in a tube!!!
