Danzo

its a silvia

Axentrik
26th April 2009, 05:32 PM
hottest silvia i've ever seen, would have to be worth a mint... can just imagine one pimped out with some negative 8s.

with the amount of cars that turned up was there much room for this to expand into something larger next year??

Danzo
26th April 2009, 05:36 PM
yep its a 67 silvia. Theres only about 500 in existance, and they are all unique, because the panels and everything where all hand made. That car was for sale last year for around the mid 20's.
also a kpcg10 skyline rolled up after we left.. there where some very impressive cars that have snuck out of adelaides garages today.

Axentrik
26th April 2009, 05:51 PM
cant wait to next year, think i may go into hibernation to make it come quicker lol. nah got an ae86 to build for it. if only it gets accepted, with the standard of cars i've seen (with the exception of the habib spec r100) in these photos it makes it obvious why so many cars were gettin knocked back.

26th April 2009, 06:52 PM

Fair few cool cars there. I love that early Mitsubishi Colt, and the old Silvia is gorgeous.

Danzo
26th April 2009, 09:07 PM
maybe running little to no camber helps with rear end grip and tyre wear? although running neg 50 wheels with 144379285671846558562853.1 camber may look cool, going through a pair of tyres every 2 laps and wheelspinning uncontrollably through 1 - 4th gears is not.

crackett
26th April 2009, 09:22 PM
Was about to say, -4 camber on the rear looks sick than aids, but handles about as good as a shopping trolly ontop of an oily, beached Blue Whale.

were the cozzers in the pics just sussin out or on a defect blitz?

slide86
28th April 2009, 09:53 AM
nah they were just there for "police presence"

i think there was an agreement that they were not going to defect any vehicles.

although, the cops did ask permission to several owners of cars to take photos of engine bays to use in training. so they could identify to cadets what is defect worthy and also what an PROPER engine conversion should look like.......ie the SR20 in the 1600 (that guy agree to have photos taken as long as no ID or number plate was shown)
