hi, id like to ask if 4link rod for the diff is required if u want to drift. what do they do and whats the point of getting adjustable ones?

the more info the more better

I'm sure it holds the diff in much stiffer then normal, or stop it from 'rocking'

If you are reffering to rosejointed 4 link setups then they provide the following benefits...

Adjustable pinion angle, to stop that nasty axle tramp
Solid mounting, practicaly eliminates 'slop' in diff movement
Allows you to set the pinion angle for 'grip' or 'slip'

when used in conjunction with a rosejointed panhard rod:

Adjustable diff positioning, center the diff under the car etc
Solid mounting, Elimantes 99% of lateral movement
Allows the diff to go only where you want it to go

there are more benefits but these are the easiest to explain and most relevant

Great for the track, but can be noisy and a little harsh for street... but aren't most street driven 86's like that? ^_^
