hey guys/girls, im having some problem with my 4age in my 86. the motor is a jdm 4age with jdm engine wiring and jdm dash wiring in a adm 86. the setup is running a s15 fuel pump.
PROBLEM : engine hunts at 1000rpm - 2000rpm at idle and sometime revs just stay at 2000rpm and makes a slight poping noise. rev cuts out at 4000rpm.
thanks for reading and hope you can help me

Problem 1: you have a Vac leak and/or incorrectly set tps.
Problem 2: Your engine is running in limp mode, incorrectly set timing, or your fuel supply is weak. Make sure your s15 pump is not a low pressure pump. A vl external pump is a nice common high pressure pump.
Problem 3: You already created a thread about this before, there is no reason to make multiple threads on the same topic.... http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/showthread.php?t=5117

It will still surge when the fuel gets very low, but not as much as a straight adm tank and cradle with external pump.
You could get an ae82 4age cradle and pump and modify the pickup so it sits at the base of the tank.
