Hey guys
I want to upgrade the suspension on my rona.
I don't have much cash so i was just wondering if any other springs/shocks etc from other cars will fit.
I was thinking of just chopping the stock springs, but thought i would ask around first.

all help would be good
cheers

i slid an rt142 for a little while,

but mine was irs so maybe the front end details would help you.

vb-vr commo front springs fit in the front fairly nicely, I have a cut set of vc king springs that i used in mine you can have for $20. any short stroke shocks that work in the front of ae86's will work in the front of rona's (eg. from an st185 celica). xt130 control arms give about 1 deg neg camber. in the rear the old falcon springs and commo wagon shocks work well. you could do what i wanted to do and use xf falcon front springs with ke70 spring hats and strut tops(extra camber).

hey mate if your after a budget upgrade fit the front end out of a ra65 celica. this will also give you vented front disc and also allow you to run a coilover sleeve kit later down the track. while your at the wreakers getting your front end steal some shocks from a vs ish commo wagon and falcon springs and your on your way. pm me if you want to talk dirty ronas.

similar to rolla's pretty much. s13 stuff all fits in there with good slide results. zuk shocks and falc springs in the rear. lock the diff and it'll slide really well.
