View Full Version : My Sprinters

Hey people's these are my cars. The ADM was my first Sprinter which I sold ages ago and the other two are my current JDM models.

ADM was 1983 and mint (original stock), minor rust under bumpers, clean interior. Did a 100kw red top conversion and adj Koni's front and standard Koni rears.

Then after Selling that I missed it and imported a 1985 GTV Levin (with electric sunroof =P), had what very little rust cut out and full panda respray in original color, has TRD extractors, TRD racing suspension Springs and shocks, 2 way TRD LSD, fender and engine braces and rear under brace.only thing missing was the rear parcel shelf which I bought new off Ken at infinate. I then bought the rims and window fins and a few other bits and peices. And you can see the end result.

I then Found an untouched un-molested orginal condition 1983 JDM Trueno been driven by some old guy who had no idea what it was. Absolutly mint, always garaged. Approchaed him and bought it and will be my next project. I have kept my Levin in original contidion as possible so I mite go something a little more extravagent with the Trueno.

Tell me what you guys think.

*** Gunna write up a list of extra's that are on the Levin. Has lots and lots of interesting bits and peices. Will put a list of parts up that I've added as well (mostly genuine bits so nothing too exciting) ;) update shortly

Cheers
Roland

Yeah the guys has owned it for 14 years! I'm so surprised he had it that long without know what it was. and the interior is as mint as you can get. no cracks scratches or anything, all original. Ill try and get a interior photo later this week.

I'm wondering if I should keep the Trueno Zenki or upgrade to Kouki style?? Ive already bought a new kouki bumper and corner lights but now I'm thinking of keeping it original zenki. Kouki looks better but keeping it original is more my thing....

What are everybodys thoughts?

unless u intend to start modifying it and such i suggest keeping it original and standard

or change it but keep all the original zenki bits. depends a lot on what you plan for the car.

Hmmm yeah I'm thinking of staying Zenki and keeping it as a sleeper if anything. All the usual ADM mods everyone does I will do, suspension engine etc. Keep everything neat and tidy.

Ive probably spent about $20k (including purchase) on the Levin, rims, new lights, window visors, original steering wheel, new paint etc and other extra parts to get it back as original as possible and I think the outcome is great.

The trueno I got lucky, got it cheap! Going to be my next project, just starting to aquire bits and peices as per the above rims. I've never seen a auto trueno before but I'm I've seen auto ADM levins....

As most of you will already know, I've decided to Kouki up my AE85 Trueno, Hell.... something to do. (details below, click the link on my signature)

Gave the old Levin a full service. Radiator was fooked and replaced with a brand new one and My O2 sensor from the looks of it hasnt been working since long before I bought the car. Temporarily. unless I have no problems i have subbed an GT4 celica O2 sensor which seems to do the trick. No wonder i was getting bugger all km to the tank before....
Car is running sweet as at the moment but I feel as if I want a bit more power. aint changing the levin so i might consider a more powerful engine for the Trueno.

Anyhoo, bored as usual, keeping you updated with my boring irrelevent stories. updated the pics as well...... old ones didnt work
