okay i have a gearbox to go in my ae71 with a 4age. I am also doing these things while its on stands.
4link put in
new clutch master cylinder
check condition of 3000km old clutch
flywheel condition
zorst mounts due to snapped manifold bolts grrrrrr
empty 2way oil and refill
trd rear adjustable shocks in
engine crossmember swap over

is there anything else i should check while its on stands?

also i have to swap my engine crossmember over should I take the weight of the motor and
drop it out from the bottom or just rip out the motor and box together?.
i have taken the gearbox from under neath the car before and its easy but
just wondering if i should take the lot out and check other things while in there?
cheers dan

check all lines under the car, be on the look out for oil.

If your swapping everything out by yourself, pull motor out with a crane/block and tackle, then just undo the xmember, if you got a mate id say give it a shot with the motor in/weight off, be carefull with the steering rack too

edit* stick a welder under there too, see what happens :teehee:
