indicators/brake light problems

Hey guys,
well since i took my taillights out and resealed them, there seems to be some trouble in the taillights.
When i indicate with the parkers on, the parkers flash. nothing comes from the indicator bulb.
when i brake the front indicators go on.

all i did was put a new bulb socket in, and since then its all gone pair shaped. i don't belive i did it wrong, becuase the black wire went to the black and the red wire to the red.

if anyone has any idea of what is goin on any adivce would be great.

The wiring harness needs an earth, check that is still connected in a number of places.

If you wired it correctly, the problem will be due to a poor earth.
