hey just wondering what way the strutt tops are ment to sit???

if your standing at the front of your car do the hats sit towards you or away from you ? my ones are currently sitting towards me so the gap where the strutt tops sit is at the back (e.g towards the firewall)

does this sound right ?????

I thik theres a difference between the Ke70 and Ae86 strut tops, one has more castor than the othr (ie sits further foward and has a gap at theback)

The strut tops can ony go in one way so it should be all good

This is right. You have a SR spec car with less caster. The GT spec car has the shock mount further back for more caster. You can not swap the strut tops around left to right, because the 3 stud holes do not line up.

ohh maybe that explains my huge castor gain. i got 86 struts with ke70 tops....

ahh i see, i might go get myself some ke70 strutt tops,

when i had my 86 i swapped the strut tops left to right, they fitted fine, maybe theres a slight difference between early and late models or something
