How does the oil get into the hose. Some sort of tap i assume, connects to the factory oil pressure location???/

Yes, 1/8 Fitting into a sandwich plate for oil cooler or a T piece off the factory pressure switch.

Can i ask why you say a T piece of the factory locations, the stock location is a 1/8npt fitting to my knowledge.

Factory spot is so weak, especially with brass fittings.

Oil all the way to the gauge, not nice if it leaks.

Yes, Oil all the way to the gauge, hence the braided line with proper fittings as opposed to the supplied plastic.
