View Full Version : Clunk on front right corner when braking in reverse

Driving to uni this morning has something fall off whilst driving, heard it drop and hit the car a few times.
Now when going backwards, if i brake then release the front right hand corner makes a "clang" noise.
Noise only happens when you release.
Have checked all bolts and can't find anything missing.

have you checked the radius rod bushes. sounds like the front half has fallen out(probably perished)

Checked.
Both bushings are there and everything is nice and tight.

My car used to do this, it was a fucked steering rack end

Hmmm will have to take a look tomorrow.
Just bought new boots for it too.
