hey all.
i pulled all my turbo gear off. manifold, cas, and fittings. left it for a few weeks. then put it all back on again.(to investigate an exaust leak) after i put it all back on again, the starter motor cranks, and it goes wewewewewewewewe for ages, but it just wont kick into life, it pops every now and then (igniting unburned fuel i guess). iv got a marking on the cas which iv always matched up whenever iv taken it off. and its always gone fine. dad reckons it seems to be trying to fire 180 degrees out. does this seem like a reasonable diagnosis? how can i rectafy this.
any suggestions are appreciated.
callum.

definetly sounds like the timing is out

excessive cranking and popping are a few of the big symptoms of incorrect timing
