Hey guys
I'm having trouble fitting my new drivers side door to my shell. The door sits flush with the middle of the rear quater panel but sits out a the top and the bottom about 5 to 10mm. It worse at the bottom than the top. Its almost like the door has being flattened but there are no signs of that though and the door is in probably the best condition I've ever seen.

I've spent the last few days tweaking the hinges and have got it better but sill no way near good enough.

Any ideas?

Do you neam where the door catch mounts?

I think the door lock isn't catching the catch properly but can't work out why. Have switch out the lock mechani9sm to one I know works. But that didn't solve anything.

The next thing to do is mount the drivers side door from the red car and see if that fits . If it does I know its the new door thats the problem and hopefully not the shell.

I drilled out the bolt holes on the catch so I could set it in about 5mm. Door wasn't clossing real tight befor but now it does. Its still sitting out abit high at the top though. getting there. I'm gonna get my pale beater to have a look next week.
