1. Is the oil pressure sender in a 4ac and 4age the same?

2. If i have a jdm whitline dash do i need the 4age oil pressure sender?

3. Is the 4age sender the right thread size for an sr20det?

4. Does anyone know the part number for a new 4age sender?

1. Oil pressure sender is the same for 4ac and 4age and 4agze and 20V if they run a gauge.

2. You need any of the 4a pressure senders for it to work.

3. No idea unless you specify the thread on an sr20det

4. Can't answer.

i thought it wasnt a sender, i thought it was just a pressure switch?

2. the cluster doesnt run a gauge, doesnt it just run a light?

3. if its not take the old thread and the new thread to your local pirtek an adapter will cost u 3 bux.

There are 2 types, digital clusters and SOME analogue have an oil light, not gauge. All ke70's and ae71's have oil light switches.

1. Is the oil pressure sender in a 4ac and 4age the same?

Yes and No. Most AE86 use a pressure gauge. Many other cars use a light on the dash, and a pressure switch on the engine. Switch is the small one. Variable pressure sensor is the larger round one.

2. If i have a jdm whitline dash do i need the 4age oil pressure sender?

Yes and No. If the dash is from a GTV or Apex, you need the larger pressure sender. If the dash is from a AE85, you may need the switch.

3. Is the 4age sender the right thread size for an sr20det?

Yes

4. Does anyone know the part number for a new 4age sender?

83530-30080 switch
83520-14023 variable pressure sensor

You very rarely need to know part numbers for generic stuff. You just look it up at the shop.

I have a few of these laying around, as many people would who have wrecked a few engines. They come on AE86, and AE92 SX and any other Toyota that has a oil pressure gauge.
