Will it work?

Yes. You need a 4A belhousing, or a complete gearbox from a 4A should work also.

Engine mounts will come very close, and you may not have to change them.

Are you serious? 4age has exhaust on passenger side. Have to be some seriously curly headers to be fouled by the steering box.

i have a 4age in my T18 now....

piece of piss to put in really...

you will need to get....

4A CrossMember
4A Engine Mounts
4A T50 Crossmember
4A T50 Bellhousing....easier to use the whole 4A Box
KE/AE Steering Rack
KE/AE Steering Coloumn
4A T50 Front Half Tailshaft....if you change to 4A box

jump into my build thread here...http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/board/index.php?showtopic=31071

that will note everything that needs to be changed...

you will need to drill a new hole in one side of the T50 Crossmember if you change to 4A T50

If you need more help then just hit me up with a pm and i can guide you through the process.....

Idler Arm is what the 4AGE headers will foul on if not converted to rack

Ah, cool. I'm sure an exhaust shop could help you out with that though even if the headers had to be slightly modded.
Conversion to rack is of course beneficial for other reasons perhaps more important too.

the conversion to rack is the main bonus with doing the conversion....

and the price will be the same whether you convert or not....
