yes fuel pump is a lift pump (low pressure), efi is the main pump (high pressure)

I'm doing the same thing in mine as I need a surge for the 4agte. Atm I have a Bosch 040 for the EFI pump from the surge to the fuel rail. I'm thinking of having a 2L surge tank but I'm not sure what low pressure high volume fuel pump to have from the tank to the surge tank. Ive been told a carby fuel pump like a holley blue or something could work but I'm still not sure.

What also would be the best way for a registered car to have the surge tank?
And is there an advantage of maybe doing a surge tank in the fuel tank.....?
This is the next thing on the list to do to get the car going.
Any help would be great.
Cheers
