more lock when turning left than right

Any ideas guys, as it says, when im on full lock left there is a good amount of lock, when turned to the right it is noticably less. And there is no play in the steering as far as i can tell.

The car has a quaife rack and power steering arms.

recently the rack was unbolted, then bolted back on but thats about it.

Any ideas would be a help as at the moment i have none.

Your rack isnt centered,
the tie rods have to be the same length.
Needs a good wheel alignment

its previously been set to a prefered dori side. get an alignment and it will be fine..

I used to run corona control arms and corona tie rod tubes, which made it physically impossible to have the rack off centre. There wasnt enough thread to mis-align it on the tie rod and rack ends.
