there are 2 spots i spray in the middle
the one on the left is super white 2, it is a little pink/purple compare with the background.
the one on the right is super white 3, but too light in white
i think my colour is super white 3 plus a little bit of light blue.
so what is my colour called?

from looking at photos we taken of our cars parked together and also from looking at our cars together, your car looked EXACT same as my trueno front that ways sprayed in super white 2.

the colour code should be on the build plate in your engine bay

why not bring your fuel cap down to paint specialist to have them match as close as they can.

you will get variation regardless to some degree. different paint pigments, quality, heat, technique etc etc.

I would not care so much for what a colour was called, the paint code is more important if you are painting the same colour the car originaly was.

Most white AE86's had the paint code 041.
041 is sometimes called "new white" and has been called other things. It looks more like "old white" to me. Who cares, I just call it "041" which is easy to order from a shop.

I think it was very early AE86's (white ones) that had the paint code 038. Probably similar to 041.

040 is a very common Toyota white colour. It is just a basic white, and many corollas get painted that colour. I think it is called "superwhite" sometimes, again I don't care. No AE86 was ever painted in 040 from the factory, but many AE86 owners that don't like the dirty 041 look get their car redone in 040.
