Hi,

Id like someone with a little more experience to have a listen/ watch this. you can hear some splutters at the start and the major problem at the end on the video.

Would like to speak more in depth with someone with knowledge in this area.

Thanks Tim

glad I'm not the only one

car sounded pretty cool, very hard to hear anything "bad"

i assume its got an aftermarket ecu? if so theres pretty much nothing we can do to help you over text based, you need to get out the wideband o2 sensor and analyise the fuel map either on a dyno or on a nice straight road, and make small adjustments to the fuel table.

assuming that its air/fuel ratio related...could be a number of things....but you say its a "tune problem".....

and if you don't know what your doing, don't go changing numbers, as you will break something!

I see you have a MicroTech. You are best to state your lacation, then we can tell you the closest tuner.

I am in the northern territory, you must be deaf, because in the last 10sec of the video you can hear a distinctly different sound to the rest of the video, i know its a boring video but i am just trying to get a 2nd opinion on the matter.

what plugs are ya running?

does it alway do it ?

what motor work and ecu etc?

is it tuned properly, has it been on a dyno to get tuned?

could be alot of things man its real hard to tell in that vid ya can hear a different noise but its not very distictive, my plugs use to foul up all the time man i had ngk iridium's mite be that
sorta sounded like in the vid you were trying to get up it but it wouldn't go your waist gate mite be stuck open or sticky sometimes open someimes works normal

i had a look at your members ride thread do you have a bov cause you should get one they serve a perpose other than the gay noise thay make

basically it gets to around 5000rpm then makes a stupid sound, kinda like a fluttering sound, and doesnt want to rev anymore. car is a pain in the ass to start aswell. happened ever since the humidity has dropped off in Darwin.

The car has been tuned properly on a dyno and is currently running 16psi, only time it doesn't do it is early in the morning b4 the ambient temp gets to high.

I'm thinking i should book it in for another dyno tune. Another guess might be the Ignition module is shot, i had similar problems with my old ae92 20v
