Hi all,
just wondering if anyone can tell me how to tighten the gas pedal?
My pedal is sorta limp and i can actually lift it an inch or 2. It didn't used to be like that and would sit higher up , almost in line with the brake pedal.
wouldn't know the first thing about how to tighten it.
any input be great

You need two 12mm open end spanners. Pop the bonnet and adjust the outer cable position, which is near the throttle.
Once adjusted, the cable should be just a little slack when your foot is off the pedal. This is to make sure the engine can idle, and the throttle closes fully.

Thanks for replying Jonny. Is that cable your talking about the throttle cable?
And how slack is a little slack? I think its pretty tight at the moment, wouldn't i need it tighter so the pedal sits higher ?
