Why?
If you want power, 4agte
If you want more power 3SGTE or SR20DET

the price/reliability of a 4agte vs ca18det/sr20det.. i think the nissan motor have the win.
purists wants dont even come into it because they keep it real and stay N/A

Why? Cause I can pick up a decent engine for 500 bucks and can have some turbos for free.
I DON'T believe in a Nissan engine in a Toyota or vice versa.
If it's not worth it, I won't do it. I'll just go a 4agte drop...
The plan is for streeter, drift, some circuit...

As Calvin said, there big and heavy. Theres a guy down here thats done it in a sedan, its pretty much touching the radiator and the firewall.
Size wise, power wise, reliability wise. SR is a greater option. But if your a toyota purist then GZE/GTE or 3S in my opinion.

I appreciate 500 bucks is cheap, and you've got all the parts. A 3S-GTE BEAMS would keep it in the family also, I got offered one married to his 6 speed and ECU all in place for $2000. Nice, but my little AE86 is gonna keep his 4AGE heart and keep his balance too, so if your interested in the 3S!!

in my opinion it's not worth the hassle putting a 1ggtte in as they drink alot and in the end they just aren't a very beefy motor
