another gearbox question?

hey guys, just got my first sprinter and the standard g.box behind the 4age is starting to let go. was told that a w57 would be the go but i can't seem to find any info on whats involved. this has probly been asked a million times but i can't find nothing! I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction so i can get this done, or to someone that can do this for me.

You would need to mod your clutch to suit the different input shaft, different tailshaft, new bellhousing from nite parts, + maybe a few other smaller items.

All up about $800 with out the gearbox purchase i would assume. No i havent done it but i have looked into it.

Try searching w-series gearbox not w-57

hi guys, i was looking into putting a 3sgte in my new sprinter and was just wondering what gearbox would i use? i know there is the Altezza 6 speed but i don't have the $$$$$ is there any others??

w5x will fit with bellhousing to suit the 3s
