I am in the process of fitting a flat front to a KE70, everything lines up, ie gards, scuttle etc but i am having problems fitting the headlights to the existing rad support. Is there any difference in the rad support in a slant and flat front ke70?

pretty sure they cut and weld in beaver panel too which is a part of rad support

can you elaborate further?
I thought the beaver panel was the panel that bolts inbetween the front gards behind the front bar?

yeah it is quite different.
the correct way to do the swap is to swap the entire rad support. but most ppl just modify the existing one and the headlights to make them fit.

It should only be a matter of cutting a bit of clearance behind for wiring and drilling a few holes in the radiator support.
The beaver panel will need to be scribed around the lights too. Best to trace the shape and trim with a grinder carefully.
